Empower Instructors, Invest in Youth, Build up a community: A Mentor a Mentor Update

Dear Mentor a Mentor Family,

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, both through your financial contributions and prayers. Your partnership is the driving force behind the impactful work of Mentor a Mentor.

Board Meeting Highlights

In our recent October board meeting, we had the pleasure of meeting with Cara, our new Program Director. Together, we set ambitious goals for the upcoming year, the foremost being the revamping of our website and refining communication around Mentor a Mentor's mission and impact. To kickstart this initiative, we've updated our support page. Check it out here! The page features a new donation platform accepting both US and International donations. If you've previously registered and donated, there's no need to update your information. Additionally, explore the page to see the incredible impact Mentor a Mentor has made in the lives of hundreds of children and mentors in Latin America over the past 7 years.

Fundraising Progress & 5K JAM Run

Our aspiration to raise $30,000 by August 1, 2024, is well underway, thanks to your generosity. Currently, we've reached $13,100, and this progress has been accelerated by events like the successful 5K JAM run/walk in October (pictures below). With the funds raised, we're excited to announce the launch of Mentor a Mentor in Colombia, where dedicated instructors in robotics and martial arts will impact vulnerable youth for the next six months.
