Winter Semester Orphanage Casa Hogar Adonai 2017

Winter asked what the kids did last summer...

Children from orphanage Casa Hogar Adonai showed what they learned last summer and fall at the local annual capoeira event in Chihuahua City in January. They joined world renowned Capoeira masters from Brazil and students from all over Mexico in training events and participated in the graduation ceremony where the children received their first level: a yellow/raw belt*! This was extra motivation to continue taking classes throughout the winter.

Mentor a Mentor sponsored the children's uniforms in order to have the traditional attire to participate in the event.

*Yellow means the value of apprenticeship.
